Thanks to ALL those that Supported Meals-on-Wheels this Holiday Season!

Meals-on-Wheels, thanks to the generous support of our community, had a wonderful Holiday Season! This year we raised over $60,000 to provide over 12,000 meals to the homebound elderly and disabled residents of Johnson & Ellis Counties. This is the largest response in the history of the organization!

In addition, two local groups helped provide Christmas to those in need. The Salvation Army of Johnson County hosted a “Forgotten Angel Tree” for Meals-on-Wheels clients, and provided Christmas for over 20 local elderly people. Likewise, Smith Chrysler-Dodge of Waxahachie provided a gift tree for the Ellis County clients with over 30 people receiving Christmas.
