to help fight senior isolation and hunger
Each year, Meals on Wheels of Johnson & Ellis Counties participates in "March for Meals," a national campaign to raise awareness about senior issues like isolation, hunger and loss of independence. Throughout the month of March, hundreds of local Meals on Wheels programs mobilize across the country to reach out to their communities and build the support that will enable them to serve America's seniors all year long. During Community Champions Week and Church Partnership Week, elected officials, church leaders, and community champions deliver meals in their communities to help build awareness.
Meals on Wheels of Johnson & Ellis Counties is fortunate to have strong support from both counties and rely on this fundraising event to help fund our organization.
